Varanasi- A journey through time

According to Hindu mythology, Varanasi sits on the tip of Lord Shiva’s Trishool. This is the reason why it has never been hit by an earthquake while its surrounding areas have been. I cannot prove the truth behind this statement but Varanasi has always charmed me for reasons unknown
