Day-10 Paris to London

Next morning we had breakfast and relaxed in the hotel till 11:00am,checked-out and headed for the airport to fly to our last destination-London. CDG Airport is on the outskirts but the train frequency to the airport is good, so we reached there way before our scheduled departure. We spent time by having lunch and shopping at the airport. Boarded the flight and in an hour were at London Heathrow Airport.

London was the much needed next thing –home. We had Abhi’s cousin Romy pick us up from the airport. His drive to the airport was quite eventful but he did not give up. It was raining and cold. Home was fun with kids, didi, bhabhi and bhaiyya. Had delicious khaana and long chat sessions.

Day – 11 London

Stayed home as it was raining whole day. Had some real good fun with the Sid and Rhea. Then, went shopping with Bhabhi and Rhea in the evening. After shopping was movie time- “3 Idiots”. Had dinner and dozed off. Next day was New Year’s Eve and our awesome tour guide was determined to take us out. Again, the train and tube system in London is great and reaching any destination was not a problem. We went around the tower bridge, London Bridge, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Millennium Bridge, Westminster, London eye, had food and went back home to attend the New Year’s Party.

Day -12 Happy New Year London

We slept at 5:00am after a long and interesting chat session. Got ready and by 3:00 pm started for another day in the city with didi and Rhea as well. Our first destination was Buckingham Palace, then we went to Leicester Square(very much like Times Square on a small scale). There was a fair going on and we took two rides –the carousel and dodge cars. Had great fun ,went for food, started for Trafalgar Square. We headed afterwards as it was getting really cold and we had to catch an early morning flight back to USA. Thanks to Romy for being the awesome guide, none of the moments were dead and boring.

Back to USA………:-)
